Born in Erie, PA on Sept 29,1992. Attended Harding Academy from first through ninth grade. Currently attends St. Benedicts at Auburndate and will grade in 2011. He wasn’t in Cub Scouts, but earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. At age 12, Wade was introduced to scouting through a friend at school, and chose to join Troop 368 because it was local, and his next door neighbor was the SPL. Wade earned Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class and Star rank in 2006, and earned Life in 2007. As a member of Troop 368, Wade as served as Patrol Leader three times, Troop Guide, twice, Order of the Arrow representative, ASPL, and SPL. Wade earned 31 merit badges, and the 50 miler award twice. He spent 171 nights camping, and along with his Dad, hiked for ten days at Philmont Scout Ranch, in Cimarron, NM. He earned the Duty to God award at Philmont. Wade and thirteen other scouts canoed through the Northern Tier Boundary waters and served as trek leader along with Ty Cobb. In 2010, Wade attended the National Jamboree during the 100 years of Scouting celebration, and served as SPL for one of three council troops, Troop 1807.
Wade’s Eagle project was to design, plan, and direct the building of a Feral Cat Shelter at the Collierville Animal Services Compound. It took 130 man hours and serves the Collierville community. Wade passed the Eagle Board of Review on October 13, 2010. Wade is a member of Hope Presbyterian Church and is involved in sports, while at Harding Academy and now at St. Benedicts, earning varsity letters for three years in Golf, and Swimming. He went to States in swimming in 2010 and plans to qualify in 2011. Wade’s college plans are to attend Arkansas State University, University of Memphis, University of Delaware, or Tennessee Community College.
Ty was born in Memphis, TN on October 23, 1992, and has attended ECS since the third grade. At ECS, he has been involved with the Fine Arts Club, Film Club, Advanced Spanish Club, and is captain of the ECS Ultimate Frisbee Team. Ty will graduate in May of 2011, and attend college at either the University of Missouri/Columbia, or Western Kentucky University studying Photojournalism.
Ty has been involved in Scouting his entire life, especially since his two older brothers were also Eagle Scouts. His joined Pack 368 at Farmington Presbyterian Church as a Tiger Cub. He crossed over into Troop 368 after receiving his Cub Scout Arrow of Light award. Ty earned Scout, Tenderfoot, and Second Class in his first year. He earned First Class and Star ranks in 2006, and Life in 2007. In Troop 368, Ty served as Troop Guide, APL, Patrol Leader three times, and Senior Patrol Leader. Ty earned 26 merit badges, and was elected to the Order of the Arrow. In 2007, Ty joined fifteen others and hiked Philmont Ranch, in Cimarron, NM. In 2008, Ty and thirteen others canoed the Northern Tier Boundary Waters in Atikoken, Ontario. Ty served as trek leader for the eight days of canoeing, while Wade Cline served as the other trek leader. In 2010, Ty celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Scouting at Fort AP Hill, Va at the National Scouting Jamboree. Ty served as Asst Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 1807.
Ty’s Eagle Project was to collect, assemble, and mail care packages for soldiers serving in Iraq, and Afghanistan. The items collected were small convenience items that soldiers could not get through normal military channels. Ty passed the Eagle Board of Review on October 13, 2010.
Zach was born in Memphis, TN on December 19, 1991. He attended Houston HS in Germantown, TN, and currently attends the University of Memphis, and is majoring in MIS. He joined Cub Scouts with Pack 369 in the second grade with several friends. Zach has played football from age 6 until his high school graduation.
Zach earned the Scout, Tenderfoot, and Second Class rank during his first year in Boy Scouts. He then earned First Class in 2004, Star in 2007, and Life in 2008. As a member of Troop 368, Zach has served as Patrol Leader twice, Troop Guide twice, ASPL, and Senior Patrol Leader. Zach earned 24 merit badges, and spent 44 nights camping.
Zach’s Eagle Project was to lead several volunteer scouts in installing a flag pole at Farmington Presbyterian Church. The project took 75 hours to complete and serves the church community. Zach passed his Eagle Board of Review on March 9, 2010.
Zach is a full time student at the University of Memphis and works part time as Assistant IT at The Data Company.
